Welcome

The short story is, I’m a word nerd. The longer story is, my writing career has spanned many genres, taking me from journalist to author to marketing and public relations work, and just about everything in between. I’ve had bylines in magazines and newspapers such as Glamour, Maxim, Variety, the Chicago Sun Times and more, traveled the world, worked with everyone from Big Brand companies to mom and pop shops, and ventured into sometimes crazy and always interesting territory, all for the sake of a good story and a love of the written word.

I’m now screenwriting and have sold three short scripts, with two produced. Among my numerous scripted offerings, I’m currently working on a new comedy pilot and a new feature. It seems to be satiating my creative beast. And though I was warned that all those hours spent sitting in front of the TV or at the movie theater would rot my brain and make me blind, I prefer to think of it as educational time well spent (crossed-eyes notwithstanding).

My life is punctuated by movies and TV shows the way my elders’ lives were punctuated with memories of moon walks and wars. [...]

A Dissertation on Vaginal TV

Surely you’ve seen the THR article sharing Two and a Half Men co-creator Lee Aronsohn’s feelings that there is too much vagina on TV right now. Once I stopped wondering exactly how much time he was spending watching Spice and the Playboy Channel, I had a giggle. I mean, really? Because three major primetime shows [...]
